The Context

NGen IT Ltd. is a Dhaka-based IT and digital marketing company. As their SEO and Digital Marketing Executive from January 2025, I was responsible for the end-to-end digital marketing operation — spanning multiple client accounts and internal campaigns simultaneously.

This case study documents what the role involved, what systems I built, and what results the work produced. Unlike a single-client project, this engagement demonstrates the ability to manage complexity across multiple accounts while maintaining quality and meeting weekly reporting deadlines.

What I Did

SEO Across Multiple Client Accounts

I managed technical and on-page SEO for multiple client websites simultaneously. This included:

Running monthly technical SEO audits using Screaming Frog and Google Search Console — identifying crawl errors, indexing issues and Core Web Vitals problems across each account

Keyword research and mapping for each client's service and content pages

Rewriting title tags, meta descriptions and on-page content to align with actual search demand

Building and monitoring backlink profiles and identifying link-building opportunities for each account

The challenge of multi-account SEO is prioritization — knowing which fixes to do first for which client to produce the most impact per hour of work. I developed a triage system: critical technical issues first, high-traffic page optimization second, new content third.

Content Planning and Coordination

I created monthly content plans for each account and coordinated with the graphics team to ensure visuals were produced on time and aligned with the content calendar. This involved:

Keyword-driven blog topics mapped to each client's audience

Brief writing for the graphics team covering post format, caption angle and call to action

Weekly review of published content performance in GA4 and Search Console

Adjusting the content plan based on what was gaining traction

Paid Advertising — Facebook and Google

I managed and optimized paid ad campaigns across Facebook and Google for multiple clients. Responsibilities included:

Campaign setup, audience research and ad copy for new campaigns

Weekly performance review — pausing underperformers, scaling winners, adjusting bids

Monthly KPI reports for each client covering spend, clicks, conversions and cost per result

Managing budget allocation across clients based on performance and client priority

GA4 and Conversion Tracking

I conducted technical SEO audits on websites and managed GA4, Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager across all client accounts. For accounts with incomplete tracking, I rebuilt the setup — configuring custom conversion events, linking Search Console to GA4 and building Looker Studio dashboards for client reporting.

YouTube, WhatsApp and Email Marketing

Where applicable, I set up and managed YouTube SEO optimization for client channels, built WhatsApp broadcast lists for nurture campaigns and configured email marketing sequences through various platforms.

FAQ

What does a digital marketing executive do at an agency in Bangladesh? An agency digital marketing executive typically manages SEO, paid ads, content and analytics simultaneously across multiple client accounts. The role requires both technical ability — running audits, setting up tracking — and strategic judgment — knowing what to prioritize for each client to produce the most measurable impact.

How do you manage SEO for multiple clients at the same time? The key is a systematic workflow rather than ad hoc work. I use a fixed monthly cycle: technical audit in week one, on-page and content work in weeks two and three, reporting and planning in week four. Each client gets a consistent level of attention within that cycle, with urgent issues escalated immediately.

What tools do you use for agency-level digital marketing? Google Search Console and GA4 for organic and conversion data, Screaming Frog for technical audits, Ahrefs for keyword research and backlink monitoring, Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads for paid campaigns, Google Tag Manager for tracking implementation, and Looker Studio for client dashboards.
